Our story
Two gym mates and a drink that didn’t exist yet.
Prova began the way a lot of good things do — with two friends and a gap they couldn’t stop noticing.
Kun was working behind the counter at two different drinks places, and kept seeing the same thing: protein shakes taste bad, and plenty of people — gym-goers and non-gym-goers alike — would happily buy something that tasted great and still carried the protein. Nobody was making it.
Shuyeb, meanwhile, had spent years deep in coffee, matcha and food, and would finish a workout wanting exactly that kind of drink to refuel with. It was never on the menu. If it had been, he’d have bought it every time.
So they built it. Kun started experimenting in a university dorm, chasing a protein drink that actually tasted like something you’d want. Then, between exams and everything else life was throwing at them, the two spent a week straight at the dorm dialling in the formula.
They handed the results to friends and family, and the verdict came back the same every time: this tastes great — and it doesn’t taste like protein.
That was all they needed to hear. Prova was real.

What we believe
The drink you want, that happens to be the one you need.
For years, protein drinks made you choose. Good nutrition or good taste. Chalky and functional, or delicious and empty. We never understood why you should have to pick one.
So we made the drink we always wanted: barista-made, up to 30g of protein, and a taste you’d order even if it did nothing for you. The protein is the point. So is the pleasure. You don’t have to choose between them anymore.
We’re not here to make a protein shake you’ll put up with. We’re here to make a drink you’ll come back for.
